  1. The Rams who traded for Trent McDuffie last week, reached agreement with the cornerback Sunday on a record four-year, $124 million extension. The deal makes McDuffie the highest paid cornerback in NFL history.
  2. The Las Vegas Raiders traded five-time Pro Bowl defensive end Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens for 2026 and 2027 first-round draft picks.
  3. St. Bernard hired former St. Francis/ Paraclete head coach Dean Herrington as its new head football coach.
  4. Former Los Alamitos head coach Ray Fenton has been named the new head football coach at Orange Lutheran.
  5. Crescenta Valley beat Temple City 7-2 Saturday night in the first game played on Temple City’s newly renovated baseball field.
  6. The Chargers signed pass rusher Khalil Mack to a one-year, $18 million deal.
  7. The Philadelphia Eagles signed defensive tackle Jordan Davis to a three-year, $78 million extension.
  8. Men’s College Basketball: UCLA beat USC 89-68 Saturday to improve to 21-10 overall and 13-7 in the Big Ten. USC is 18-13 and 7-13 in conference.
  9. USA (2-0) will face Mexico (1-0) Monday in the World Baseball Classic.
  10. Boston Celtics star Jason Tatum returned to the court Friday night after missing 10 months with a ruptured right Achilles tendon. He had 15 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists in a 120-100 win over the Dallas Mavericks.
