  1. NCAA Men’s College Basketball Tournament – Number 1 seeds: East – Duke, West- Arizona, Midwest-Michigan, South-Florida.
  2. UCLA is the number 7 seed in the East and will play UCF in the first round.
  3. Cal Baptist (Riverside) beat Utah Valley 63-61 Sunday to win the WAC tournament title and received an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. This is the first time the Lancers have made the NCAA Tourney. They are the number 13 seed in the East and will play Kansas in the first round.
  4. Purdue beat Michigan 80-72 Sunday to win the Big Ten tournament championship.
  5. The Chargers brought back quarterback Trey Lance on a one-year, $6.75 million deal.
  6. The Philadelphia Eagles re-signed tight end Dallas Goedert to a one-year, $7 million contract.
  7. The United States beat the Dominican Republic 2-1 Sunday in the World Baseball Classic Semi-Final.
  8. The U.S. will play the winner of the Venezuela-Italy game Monday night.
  9. The USC Men’s College basketball team finished 18-14 overall and 7-13 in the Big Ten Conference and missed the NCAA Tournament.
  10. The Cincinnati Bengals signed quarterback Josh Johnson to a one-year deal as a backup to Joe Burrow. Johnson has played for a record 14 NFL teams since entering the league in 2008. This will be his third stint with the Bengals.
