I thought Salazar was great at Monrovia / the team severely underachieved

Many, many times a player encounters a coach who instills the right technique and attitude in a young player, and I’ve got to believe this is what was done for Salazar at Citrus. The JC’s have an extensive coaching staff, so it’s easy to think that Brian had a dedicated QB coach to tutor him into something that would astound those who saw him at Monrovia. Again, this brings up the massive disparity between compensation of high school staffs when compared to the collegiate level; it’s like night and day.

The Cavs snatched defeat from the jaws of victory last night, and the blame has to go directly to their coach, Atkinson. The man had several timeouts in his pocket, and last time I checked, making strategic adjustments in the face of a serious problem is what timeouts are used for. Even if the coach didn’t know what adjustments to make, the use of timeouts would have thrown just a bit of cold water on the heat New York was bringing. That little bit of slow-down would have been enough to avoid OT and give home court advantage to Cleveland. Is Jason Kidd the only coach that deserves to be tossed?

    8) Congratulations to the young man . This begs question of why wasn’t Monrovia better in his years -especially paired with gifted receiver Ellison
