Mustangs No Match For Falcons

(Glendale) The Crescenta Valley Falcons hosted the Muir Mustangs Friday night at Moyse Stadium on the campus of Glendale High School. The Falcons did it on the ground and through the air en route to a 38-8 win over the Mustangs in Pacific League action.

(Covina) The Charger Oak Chargers trailed 13-7 after one quarter of play but that was the only time as their defense only allowed one more touchdown in route to a 37-14 victory Friday night over the South Hills Huskies on the campus of Charter Oak High School.

Schurr Survives Whittier, 36-35

By Joe Torosian (Montebello)—Jeremiah Hartfield’s lateral to Lance Babb II was converted into a 87-yard touchdown with 1:30 to play to give the Schurr Spartans a 36-35 victory over the Whittier Cardinals on Friday night at Ken Davis Field.

Oilers Get Drilled By Dons In Pico

(Pico Rivera) The Montebello Oilers traveled to Pico Rivera to to take on the El Rancho Dons at Don Memorial Stadium and found the surrounding not to their liking and got beat by the Dons to the tune of 35-7 Friday Night.

Eagles Sack Buccaneers In Bellflower

(Bellflower) The South El Monte Eagles traveled to Bellflower Thursday night to take on the Bellflower Bucanneers at Ron Yary Stadium. After a slow first half, the Eagles turned up the pressure in the second half and pillaged the Buccaneers to the tune of a 35-8 victory.
