Bulldogs Advance to Silver Division Finals at Damien Classic

By Tim Peterson (La Verne) – Desmond Every scored 15 points and the defense did the rest as Pasadena beat Roosevelt (Seattle) 44-32 Friday Night at Bonita High School. With the victory the Bulldogs advanced to the Silver Division Finals of the Damien Classic.

Mid Valley Sports 2023 Player of the Year: Owen Long-La Serna

La Serna won the Del Rio League. La Serna won the CIF Division 4 championship and finally the State Bowl 2-AA State title. The Lancers had several players that contributed to the successful season but at the forefront of it all, leading the charge, was Owen Long.
