Dons Secure Second in Del Rio
By Tim Peterson (Whittier) – Angel Diaz scored on a five-yard run with 7:26 left in the game to lift El Rancho to a 21-14 win over California Thursday night at Cal High.

By Tim Peterson (Rosemead) – Arroyo scored on the first play of the game and rolled the rest of the way in a 41-0 rout of Rosemead Friday night in Mission Valley League action at Rod Marinelli Stadium.

By Tim Peterson (Chino Hills) – Richie Munoz threw for 383 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another to lead Charter Oak to a 32-29 win over host Ayala Friday night.
Schurr Edges Alhambra, 7-0
By Ron Vrooman (Alhambra) – Elias Navarro’s 13-yard touchdown run and Andrew Murguia’s extra point with 4:45 left in the third quarter were enough for the Schurr Spartans, who held on for a 7-0 victory over the host Alhambra Moors on Friday night.
El Monte’s Booth Commits to Utah State
