By Tim Peterson (Baldwin Park) – Baldwin Park jumped out to a 40-14 halftime lead and rolled to a 40-27 win over Diamond Bar Friday night on the Braves home field.

El Monte to Honor Officer Santana Friday Night

El Monte will honor Officer Joseph Santana at halftime of the El Monte-Viewpoint game Friday night at El Monte High School. Officer Santana, an El Monte alum, was killed in the line of duty.

Chargers Hold off Raiders in Opener

By Tim Peterson (Inglewood)- The Chargers jumped out to a 17-3 halftime lead and then held on to beat the Raiders 24-19 Sunday in the 2022 NFL opener before 70, 240 at SoFi Stadium.

Smudge Pot Remains with Bonita

By Tim Peterson (Glendora) -Connor Spina scored three times and the defense shut out San Dimas in the second half as Bonita beat San Dimas 21-13 Saturday night before a large crowd at Citrus College. With the victory Bonita retains the Smudge Pot for at least one more year.
