The Smudgepot has been one of the great high school football rivalries in this area for years. This is Week 3 from last year. The game was played on Saturday night September 14 at Citrus College.
One Year Ago: El Monte Flattens Orange Vista
In Week 3 last year El Monte rolled to its fourth straight win on the way to a CIF and eventually a State Championship. Orange Vista was supposed to give the Lions a challenge but not on this night as Davon Booth and company ran roughshod on September 13, 2019.
One Year Ago: Los Altos Locks Down Monrovia in Second Half
More action from Week 2 of last year. Los Altos pulled away in the second half to beat Monrovia at home for its third straight win. The game was played September 6, 2019.
