The Mid got some this week. Arcadia bounced back from its overtime loss against Burroughs with a “statement” win against Burbank.
El Rancho got a scare, while La Serna scared the entire Del Rio with a dominant win against Santa Fe.
So this week it is “Judgment Week”!
The Hacienda and Suburban Leagues have huge match-ups with Bonita at West Covina and Mayfair visiting La Mirada for the fate of League Titles in the balance.
La Serna can solidify its first place spot with a win against Pioneer and inch ever closer to a Del Rio League title. Crescenta Valley must right its “sinking ship” against Burroughs.
1. Bonita (7-0) – This just in…..Bearcats have a running game.
2. West Covina (6-1) – Bulldogs don’t look ahead and took care of Los Altos.
3. La Serna (6-1) – Lancers made Santa Fe defense look human.
4. Diamond Ranch (4-3) – After Los Altos this week, road gets very difficult.
5. Mayfair (5-3) – Set up showdown against La Mirada with shutout over Bellflower.
6. Norwalk (4-3) – Glenn is just what the Football Dr. ordered.
7. Burroughs (4-3) – At the end of the week, Indians controls its own destiny.
8. La Mirada (4-3) – Matadores still in position for Suburban League title.
9. Arcadia (4-3) – Apaches continue to knock off top teams in the Pacific.
10. Burbank (5-2) – Did Bulldogs take Arcadia to lightly?
11. Muir (3-4) – Mustangs beginning to roll at perfect time.
12. El Rancho (5-2) – Dons take care of business with comeback-win over Pioneer.
13. Diamond Bar (5-3) – Shocking comeback against Rowland keeps playoff hopes alive.
14. Rowland (4-4) – All you can say is “WOW!”
15. Bellflower (5-3) – Buccaneers get goose-egged against Mayfair.
16. Pasadena (3-4) – Bulldogs making run for the final Pacific League playoff spot.
17. Crescenta Valley (4-3) – Falcons wings have been clipped with injury to Marro Lee.
18. Pioneer (4-3) – Titans are now 0-3 against opponents with winning records.
19. Walnut (3-4) – Can resuscitate its playoff hopes with win against Rowland.
20. Santa Fe (3-4) – Chiefs offense was MIA in loss to La Serna.
