Wildcats were too much for TC
(Temple City) – Monrovia jumped out to a 35-21 halftime lead and ran over Temple City 66-44 Wednesday night in Rio Hondo League action.
The Wildcats led by only two (15-13) after one but blew it open in the second outscoring the Rams 20-8.
Monrovia opened up the lead to 20 mid way though the third quarter and coasted the rest of the way. Monrovia and TC split the season series.
With the win, the Cats improved to 3-4 in the Rio and are in a three way tie for third with South Pasadena and Blair. Temple City dropped to 4-3. La Canada is in control at 6-0.
