I am going to be working on Super Bowl Sunday. For me this is the ultimate sacrilege. Oh well, there are worse places I could be.

There is a stadium being built in Los Angeles, well close enough to it to call it an L.A. Stadium. Does that mean there is going to be a new team coming to L.A.? I won’t lie. I am pretty intrigued to see who will join the Rams and Raiders.

Without a stadium, there is room for the Vikings. Their owner Zygi Wilf is buddy buddy with Mr. L.A., Magic Johnson.

But as Joe said on the Live Show on Tuesday night. “I don’t want somebody else’s team.” While he said it because he lost a team growing up, and knows the ensuing pain that involves. I agree with it because it’s true, an entire generation of L.A. fans won’t change their allegiance to a new team.

Also, there is no way the NFL will start up another franchise. The League is set right now.

It is going to be interesting to see how this unfolds, but I just don’t think as of right now it is going to happen. And if it does, I can already feel the impending sour taste on my tongue.

Also, the NFL announced its offensive and defensive Player of the Year awards. Tom Brady had another great season and there’s no doubt he deserved it.

But the defensive Player of the year is, drum roll please, Troy Polamalu. Wait what? The dude missed so many weeks this season and he still gets it? Clay Matthews had a far better season, and he’s in the Super Bowl too. I don’t get these awards.

In high school football we have the most exciting draft outside of the one held in Radio City Music Hall, the Mid Valley Draft. Drafting the best in the Southeast and Mid Valley Divisions will be one of my favorite Tuesday nights all year.

Saile and I have been dissecting game film of players on the new segment of the Tuesday night live show called “No Huddle” over the past month.

The only problem is we have really only seen film for quarterbacks in the area. So if there’s anybody out there with film send the link to Saile or me via the e-mails located at the bottom of our columns.

Elijah Penny chose UNLV. Good for him and I love seeing local talents go to Division I schools.

To go back to the draft I have a surprise pick for everybody. And it’s a move I’ve been planning for months.

No Joe, Andrew Elfers isn’t my number one pick, but I will guarantee this, he will be a Titan someday.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
