Gabrielino 71 Rosemead 36  

Gabrielino shut down Rosemead in the second half, and held the Panthers to single digits in the third and fourth quarters. Senior guard Ryan Lam had 18 points and 10 rebounds; sophomore point guard Tyler Shimamoto was red hot in the first half with 14 points and six steals.

Arroyo 57 Mt. View 45

Arroyo suffocated Mountain View at halftime jumping out to a 29-13 lead and hung on to win 57-45. Mark Roche celebrated his 17th birthday by scoring at will upon the floor of the Vern Nelson Fieldhouse with 29 points.

South El Monte 70 El Monte 58

Anthony Villacis (17) and Jesus Morales combined for 31 points and the Eagles had four players in double figures in the win over El Monte. South outscored the Lions by 13 in the second half after being down by one at halftime.
