Bonita came out of the halftime break and shutout Rowland in the third quarter en route to a 57-31 victory.The 21-0 run to start the second half was really all the Bearcats needed in its Hacienda League victory.
Taylor Anderson scored 14 points and Madison Zylstra had 12 points in Bonita’s tuneup prior to Friday’s marquee game against Diamond Ranch.
Sarah Jackson and Natalie Reyes came off the bench to tally 15 points combined to help the Bearcats starters get some much needed rest.
Rowland was led by Bonnie Yen with 12 points.
