Arcadia Takes Elks Tournament

Apaches Win Elks

(San Dimas) – Arcadia scored two runs in the second inning and added one more in the third to hold off San Dimas 3-2 Thursday night to capture the Elks Tournament title.

Brendan Toy went two or three with an RBI and David Dominguez also drove in a run with a base hit to lead the Apaches. San Dimas also helped the Arcadia cause with five errors.

K.J. Edson struck out five and walked one to pick up the victory. He only allowed San Dimas three hits while going the distance.

Jacob Ehret and Matt Lee both threw for the Saints and fanned five each. Matt Munoz had a hit and scored both runs for San Dimas.

Arcadia lost to South Pasadena in the first round of the tournament, but defeated Pasadena Poly, Temple City, and San Dimas in the next three to claim the championship.
