TC's Calvin Copping looks downfield on Thursday at Arroyo
They loved the weather…The coaches were upset with soft defenses and used statements like: “We’ll be okay if we can catch the ball.”
The sophomores Steven Rivera (Arroyo) and Calvin Copping (Temple City) looked good throwing.
We could be wrong on this name but Gladstone southpaw Dyllan Duenas showed good arm strength and command for the Gladiators (Passing leagues are informal but trying to get to a player can be tough sometimes…so if this is not the name of the G-Stone lefty yesterday let us know…happy to admit our mistake…)
Still weird to see TC at a passing competition…Weirder still when you think back a few years are the number fans coming out to these events.
Wilson had a strong group of supporters out to see a young Wildcat team. New HC Brian Zavala is obviously excited, as he should be, but the supporters but their presence and words passed on feel like a breath of fresh air has come to the football program. They are optimistic about the season.
