Gabrielino’s Stefan Jarrin Drafted by Dodgers in 40th Round

Stefan Jarrin, who played his high school ball at Gabrielino, and is the grandson of legendary Los Angeles Dodger Spanish announcer Jaime Jarrin, was drafted in the 40th round by the Dodgers.

Jarrin has spent the last couple of years at East LA College and just finished a successful year with the Huskies where he started at second base. Jarrin is the first ever Gabrielino alum to be drafted by Major League Baseball or any professional sports organization. Jarrin played for former Gabrielino Coach Joe Laski.
