Faith Hill would love the game at The Swamp this coming Friday night.

Good Morning!

Like I’ve always said; I hate fantasy football.

Can someone get a fresh ice pack for San Gabriel HC? Jude Oliva’s head, I’m sure, even several days removed from Friday night, he is still burning up after the Matadors 59-6 loss at home to San Dimas.

On the other hand its champagne and caviar at Arcadia with its big win over Monrovia.

Two things, Arcadia is far better than certain staffers at The Mid were saying a few weeks ago…

Second, Monrovia is having offensive issues we said they ‘might’ have all summer. The Wildcats consistently get fat off of the interception returned to the house, the scoop and score, and the timely punt or kick-off return. Friday night at Salter Stadium they got none of that and the 21 they did get wasn’t enough.

Oh, I’ve always been a Tom Brady fan.

Last Add Arcadia: Do you realize it has been two years since “The Tie” with Temple City.

If you want to see a good show this Friday night go to The Swamp. Nogales and Keith Boldin are coming to play the Southmen. The Nobles running back has been absolutely on fire the first three weeks of the season.

Steven Rivera leads Arroyo back from the brink, so what? Doesn’t he always do that?

First Add Temple City: Love the Drake…

The Falcons need to throw the ball to Julio Jones more…and that has nothing to do with fantasy football…not at all…nope..not at all…

El Monte takes down Gladstone at home this week.

They are not feeling good at Gabrielino about now, but you know what? The Tongva Nation needs to cheer up, they are going to see Contreras…and not a moment too soon.

After watching the Sunday Night game on NBC, I’ve decided not to be an NFL quarterback…It was a close call, hopefully this will stop the requests I was expecting after this weekend.

You think I’ve kidding? Name another local sports writer who can throw a football 20 yards with both his right and left hands?

Who would have ever thought Jon Kitna would play in the NFL long enough to throw for almost 30,000 yards? Amazing, that should give hope to everyone contemplating enrollment at Central Washington University.

Really Last Add Arcadia: Former Apache quarterback and coach Nick Ponce had a nice game for New Mexico Highlands on Saturday.

Somehow I get the feeling when Faith Hill is singing “I’ve Been Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” that she is selling something more than just football? Am I wrong on this?

The Dude abides…
