(San Dimas) –  After a CIF semifinals appearance last season, South El Monte’s hopes for a title run in 2012 began on a sour note after Whittier Christian completely dominated the Eagles on Monday night with a game shortened 10-1 victory in five innings.

(South El Monte)- How ugly was this game at times? If you want a mental picture for starters try an offensive lineman in a two piece bathing suit and you’ll have an idea of how ugly South El Monte’s 28-16 victory was over Nogales Friday night at “The Swamp”.
