Ricky Rosas picks USC to win it all in the fall

Ricky Rosas picks USC to win it all in the fall

By Joe Torosian

Good Morning!

T-minus-60 until “The Mid Valley Classic”

Is there anything worse in life than the commercial for “ESPN, the Magazine” with Cole Hamels, Jameer Nelson, and Chad Ochocinco?

And who actually wants, or will admit to owning, that stupid fleece they are offering with subscription?

Okay, I mean after all the politicians in Sacramento, this commercial is the second worse thing in life…

Note to Singiser & White: The Mid Valley Classic between Arroyo and Temple City is not to be touched…We have it on good authority it would be bad for your sports karma…

How disappointed is the media in Manny Ramirez’s play after his 50-game vacation?

I love Manny, more and more with each passing cheap shot taken at him, but Orlando Hudson has been a superhero the first half of the season.

Confirmed on Saturday at the SoCal Fiesta Bowl was the future of Frankie Villalobos. The recently graduated San Gabriel linebacker will be attending Notre Dame this fall on academic scholarship…No confirmation as to whether he’s going to go the Rudy route…

I hate to say this but Cedric Ho is a lousy “Get Back Coach”…After attending his third consecutive Fiesta Bowl, Ho is learning life is more than just forgetting your wallet when going to Wood Ranch…

We met USC ball boy/Pete Carroll assistant Ricky Rosas. He flashed us his Rose Bowl ring and said Aaron Corp was going to be the Trojans next starting quarterback.

Heard a rumor the Washington Nationals were considering a move to Quebec…

Are Angels fans on board with their team?

What is Lamar Odom smoking?

Will professional athletes and the leagues they play in be part of a universal healthcare plan?

If a life story was filmed on Giants starter Tim Lincecum would Keanu Reeves play the part? Lincecum always looks like he’s on the verge of saying; “Excellent!”

The Mid Valley Sports empire has moved into the CO…how’s that for impressive…

Speaking of the Chargers its too bad Adam Muema looked out of shape…we should all look so bad…I’m sure its a coaching staff choice entailing both philosophy and personnel, but Muema looks like he could run for two grand this season.

Last Note Muema: Just in case someone doesn’t understand…the dude is ripped!

Former Duarte offensive lineman Tim Starr made his second all-star appearance this summer playing for L.A. County Saturday night…

Stay thirsty my friends…
