It usually doesn’t occur, but after missing yesterday due to illness, I give you a special edition of Off The Cuff.
I decided my vacation will start a day earlier than thought.
So this is the last edition Off The Cuff until next Friday from Indianapolis. It will also be my last Rants until the 27th!
Here are my thoughts on the SGV Shootout.
Adam Muema and AJ Powell are ripped! Forget about the video game style of Muema this season, he is just going to bruise his way to a huge season. Powell on the other hand would not surprise me if he had 10 interceptions this season. It is just a shame most college scouts look at height and not heart. Because Powell is D-I material.
Ricky Johnson looked in mid-season form for West Covina. After talking to head coach Mike Maggiore it wouldn’t surprise me if they ran the ball three out of four times. Also returning in the backfield is Jesse Illi. So the Bulldogs will have their version of “Thunder and Lightning”.
Bulldog quarterback George Johnson looked alright. Only question I have is who his recievers will be if he needs to throw.
Rowland coach Craig Snyder is really high on quarterback Michael Ball. Why shouldn’t he be.
Ball only help lead the Raiders to a semi-final appearance last season in the Southeast Divison.
It so funny growing up as kid and going to school or playing sports with Wilson Head Coach Brian Zavala and Rosemead Head Coach Matt Koffler.
Man am I old!
Little known fact about the Zavala family. His brother Larry can be seen on certain weekends in his Lucas Oil Pro Stock.
So have I made it big now that Koffler just calls me by “Andy’s Rants”?
