1.) Alhambra’s Jonathon Bird is 16 of 19 on point afters, has been in on 53 tackles, 2 sacks, two passes defended, one fumble recovery, and serves as the team’s punter.

3.) On this date in 1973 the Los Angeles Rams beat the Dallas Cowboys 37-31 at the Coliseum. Rams wide receiver Harold Jackson caught four first half touchdown passes from quarterback John Hadl to build an early lead.

4.) Burroughs 70-34 victory over Glendale was the second time in school history the Indians reached the 70 point mark. On October 16, 2008 Dominique Barnes rushed for 204 yards and scored seven touchdowns in a 76-20 win over Hoover.

5.) Whittier Christian linebacker Daniel Abernathy (6-2, 215): 43 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 Ints, 1 forced fumble.
