Joe Torosian

Good Afternoon!

If Covina and Monrovia played tonight, the Colts would win.

Can I go on a limb and say Keppel over Schurr tonight?

Of course I can, because if it doesn’t work out I can take it right back—it don’t mean nothing…But if the Aztecs do pull it off, first Almont win in the 21st century, wow, then I can say; “I called it.”

Let’s be clear about something…I may have picked Rosemead to beat Arroyo, but my opinion could change by Saturday morning. I’ll let you know more on Saturday morning…or 10:30 tonight.

Hey Mayfair! Don’t mess around tonight…all that is going to happen if you guys lose is more work for me…Of course if anybody down there has some spare hockey tickets they want to flow my way…

So what everyone is telling me is I missed one of the greatest World Series games of all time to see Pasadena hammer Hoover…Even though I am not the baseball fan I used to be, it may be time for me to rethink my priorities.

As I am reminded every morning when I look in the mirror, I am hardly the pillar of health and vitality…but after seeing Big Joe at the Pac 12 media day I’m feeling a lot better about myself. Dude, needs some vitamin c, and fast.

If Los Altos upsets West Covina does that put Walnut into contention for the Southeast crown?

Giving the Devil his Due: Santa Fe, I’m starting to come around on Santa Fe.

Is it fair to say that USC quarterback Matt Barkley is sneaky good? He doesn’t standout like an Andrew Luck, but he is a tremendous quarterback…I’m still living in the joy of the Trojans win at South Bend…So I’m all about Barkley.

South Pasadena.

If President Obama is not re-elected, then his brother in-law Craig Robinson (Oregon State’s men’s basketball HC) should go into the business. He’s smooth.

Burroughs-Muir is feeling like 36-31 Indians…and two cheeseburgers, large fries, and an unsweetened ice tea.

Last Add Keppel: Aztec HC Bobby Madrid wasn’t burned at me and neither were the two guys he sent to break my legs for bagging on his program. I have to say Luca and Sonny were very professional in their approach.

Speaking of upset; San Gabriel linebackers coach Daniel Bernard does want a piece of Villathedevil.

Note to Southmen: You need to take care of business against Mt. View…Or all you worked for could be lost.

Ditto EMHS.

Could San Dimas suffer a let down against Baldwin Park tonight?

Diane Pucin…really?

By the way… I hate fantasy football.

The Dude abides…
