Would Jude Oliva consider running "Wishbone"?

Would Jude Oliva consider running the "Wishbone"?

By Joe Torosian

Good Morning!

T-minus-43 until “The Mid Valley Classic”

Four game losing streak? I’m not saying its time to panic, but the rats have life vests on and are making their way to the boats…

And the Angels keep on humming along…and the Philadelphia Phillies give away nothing for Indians pitcher Cliff Lee…

I wonder what Grew Swindell would cost the Dodgers? Or if Cleveland is interested in trading Ken Schrom…You can always count on the Tribe to deal a lefty this time of year…How about Scott Bailes? Sudden Sam McDowell?

Just so we can get this out of the way early. Mark Keppel has lost 37 consecutive football games, 57 of its last 60, and have not won an Almont contest this decade…But they did have a three game winning streak to start the 2005 season…New HC Bobby Madrid is optimistic…

Prospects for the Aztecs in 2009? About as good as SG OC Jude Oliva flipping over to a wishbone offense…

I wonder if Isaac Valdez would be happy about that…

When I think of USC football, I think of the original “Rollerball” movie where the corporation running the sport needed its greatest player Jonathan E to retire because he was becoming bigger than the game…The NCAA can’t have USC continue its string of success (they could threaten the BCS configuration), so they are going to find a way to take the Trojan program down…Probably for serving too much jello to the third string kicker in the locker room during the month of July…Which is a blatant violation of something they will come up with…

Don’t you hate being around atomic sneezers? You know the type that turn every nasal blast into an artillery bombardment and run about four in a row?

Hey is everybody clued in on Muir’s Jarron Williams? The Mustang quarterback threw for nearly 1,600-yards, 15 touchdowns and only three picks last season…The other Muir mystery is Eddie Tripp…remember the name…but its Williams that makes his team a threat this fall…

The kid, young man, has taken a beating on the boards but from everything forwarded to us Josiah Thropay is a class act…Good for him…

Where’s Blake DeWitt these days?

Stay thirsty my friends…
