Former Rosemead lineman Gionvane Alverado displays traditional Panther intensity

Good Morning!

T-minus-41 until “The Mid Valley Classic”

Only 34 days until kick-off…Only 36-hours until vacation starts…

Has Scanlan weighed in on the Dodgers deal for George Sherrill yet?

So Juan Pierre will finish the season as a Dodger…

I’m as anti-Angel as an ordained minister can be, but these dudes are playing good ball….I can feel myself being sucked into the Rally Monkey Vortex! Geoff Rios, Villathedevil, Peterson, and other bandwagoners await to pull me down with their slimy paws… Somebody say the name Gene Mauch, and I know it will all be okay…

I didn’t know George Sherrill from Jackie Sherrill, to Sherrill Crow before last night…but I’m down with anybody who strikes out the side in Atlanta…Go George!

Don’t send me a note to say I didn’t spell Sheryl Crow’s name right…all I wanna do is have some fun…okay?

The trading deadline is no respecter of persons, even Jose Lima (yeah, the Lima Time dude) was traded by  the Long Beach Armada to the Edmonton Capitals in the Golden Baseball League.

Bonita needs a running back…

Something else to get out of the way (again)…Mt. View has never won a Mission Valley League title…El Monte has won the MVL once…in 1979. Its last title before that came in 1958 when they won the Pacific with Bruce Snyder starring…

I’m ready to hit the Golden Corral right now…

The difference for Jake Peavy in choosing to go to the White Sox from the Padres now instead of in May was being 2.5 games out of first versus being 22.5 games out…I never have been very fond of San Diego…Although the rolled tacos from Adalbertos are like butter…

Speaking of “The Mid Valley Classic” did you know the first five meetings between Temple City and Arroyo all ended in shutouts?

I’ve been at the forefront in saying Gladstone will be the team to beat in the Montview this season, but did anyone see Azusa coming last year? I have no evidence to make an argument but don’t count out Joe Scherf and the Aztecs just yet…

Same as common sense says Arroyo, but remember Rosemead is out there ready to disrupt…

I think Cliff Lee was just showing off last night…

I’m so sick of hearing about Michael Phelps…

Stay thirsty my friends…
