4.) La Mirada (junior) running back Johnny Hills carried the ball 244 times for 1,003 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2011.

5.) The Rosemead Lady Panthers have won 30 consecutive Mission Valley League games. Last loss coming on January 23, 2009, 37-36 to Arroyo at home.

6.) The El Monte Lady Lions have won three straight in the MVL and play Rosemead at home Wednesday night.
