1.) Lakers defeat Boston, 88-87, in overtime.

2.) Last undefeated Men’s Basketball team loses. Murray State falls to Tennessee State, 72-68, at home.

3.) NY Knicks Jeremy Lin is averaging 25 points in each of the Knicks last three games. All three have been wins.

4.) Wes Welker’s contract.

5.) El Monte (junior) slot receiver Abel Barajas caught 47 passes in 2011, 33 of them against teams that would make the playoffs.

6.) Glendora/UCLA pitching staff ace Adam Plutko.

7.) La Puente (junior) cornerback Noel Martinez: 6-1,160 first team Montview League in 2011.

8.) La Serna football HC Margarito Beltran adds Norco and Westlake to Lancers non-league schedule.

9.) USC loses wide receivers coach Ted Gilmore to the Oakland Raiders and linebackers coach Joe Barry to the San Diego Chargers.
