Mid Valley Softball Top 20

La Canada will be tough for the entire season.

Great week for the Indians as they defeated #1 ranked team in Division 3. La Canada started the season with no Championship hangover with San Dimas Tournament win.

Village Christian and Crescenta Valley each are undefeated along with La Canada heading into tournaments this week.

The Mid will travel to non-league games and tournaments this week.

  1. Burroughs (6-1) – Indians pull off upset of Oaks Christian with a huge game by Shannon Trujillo.
  2. South Hills (4-2) – After going 3-2 in tough Tournament of Champions will be favored in Charter Oak tourney this week.
  3. La Mirada (3-1) – Tough loss in Cypress Tournament finals.
  4. La Canada (4-0) – Cox named MVP of San Dimas Tournament allowing just four runs in four games.
  5. Crescenta Valley (4-0) – Win Lincoln Classic thanks to Tiffany Briscoe walk-off single.
  6. Duarte (3-1) – Drop finale in Duarte Tournament to Santa Fe.
  7. Montebello (3-0) – Get week off before heading to Whittier Tournament.
  8. Village Christian (5-0) – Offense on fire scoring 10 runs or more in four games.
  9. St. Lucy’s (3-1) – Only loss is forfeit loss to Sunny Hills.
  10. San Dimas (4-2) – Super Soph Janell Wheaton can crush with the best of them.
  11. Keppel (3-0) – Aztecs begin season on a roll.
  12. Santa Fe (6-1) – Elena Gallego leads the team with a homer and 9 RBIs.
  13. Bishop Amat (3-1) – Began season with three shutout wins.
  14. Bonita (2-3) – Rough start to season heading into Charter Oak tournament.
  15. Whittier Christian (2-4) – Heralds go 1-3 in Saints tournament.
  16. San Marino (3-2) – Michelle Floyd has given up just one earned run in five games.
  17. El Rancho (7-0) – Torrid start for Leal-Robles Aiyana with two homers and 10 RBIs.
  18. Covina (5-1) – Only loss is to a good Monrovia team.
  19. Los Altos (3-1) – Alyssa Villalpando is solid behind the plate.
  20. La Salle (4-1) – Surprise start for Lancers.
