Fanview Lite: March 22, 2012

Kick it!

Poor New Orleans…and so soon after Katrina.

Is the NCAA tournament still going on?

One of the better receivers no one knows about in the Mid-Valley Division? South Pasadena’s Bryan Bednarski.

With all the drama going on…with all the stuff taking place in the NFL…Drew Stanton, recently signed by the New York Jets, wants to be traded.

First Add Ganesha: Are the Giants the team no one is talking about in the Montview? Is it possible for them to make a move in 2012.

Note to Drew Stanton: Most people have seen you play, just be grateful you’re not in the UFL.

Not to be selfish or petty, but I wish Roger Goodell and the NFL had been as serious about protecting the integrity of the game when it came time to level punishment for the SpyGate scandal…

Last Add Super Bowl 36: Not only did the New England Patriots illegal taping (cheating) of the St. Louis Rams practices cost the team a Super Bowl it also cost them a place in history by winning a second title in three years…

Like I said though I’m not bitter.

Still, suspensions and fines, as far as I’m concerned, couldn’t happen to a better franchise.

How much do I hate the Saints? Put it this way, they actually make me root for the Dallas Cowboys. I wouldn’t even root for New Orleans if they played the Russians.

The Mid recently had a short interview with former SG/Gabrileino alum Cedric HO, who is currently playing professional football in France.

The MID: Cedric, how is it going?

Ho: Another beautiful afternoon in Monaco.

Last Add Ganesha: All-Purpose Kevin Jones, Wingback Geovanny Garcia…and keep an eye on Aaron Speed, currently a freshman, at running back.

VCU’s Shaka Smart made a good move by not moving at all to Illinois. IU has become a graveyard for football and basketball coaches.

Atlanta Braves third baseman Chipper Jones (.304/454/1,561) will retire at the end of this upcoming season…I didn’t know he was still playing, besides I was always more of a Ryan Klesko guy myself.

Really Last Add Almont From The Other Day: Bell Gardens, Bell Gardens, Bell Gardens…and running back Jorge Remigio.

Kentucky and Jack Givens should easily take down Scott May and the Indiana Hoosiers tomorrow night.

Mid Valley Sports version of “The Hunger Games”…Either being behind Big Tony & Omelette in the buffet line…or waiting for Villathedevil to pay off on the steak & lobster he owes me.

The Dude abides…
