Carl Daniels and Monrovia running towards the Rio Hondo Crown
It’s the last week of the regular season before playoff pairings are announced. Bonita and Mayfair are both looking to run the table in the Hacienda and Surburban respectively. Monrovia and Temple City play for the Rio Hondo crown this week while Crescenta Valley is suddenly on top of the Pacific. Right now Nogales is the best team in the Valle Vista.
1. Bonita (24-2) – Bearcats 10-0 in Hacienda.
2. Mayfair (20-5) – Monsoons continue to roll in Suburban.
3. Alhambra (17-3) – Moors should wrap up Almont this week.
4. Nogales (20-5) – First place Nobles beat Northview twice.
5. Monrovia (16-4) – Huge game with Temple City on Thursday.
6. Crescenta Valley (18-6) – Falcons leap frog over Arcadia into first place.
7. Temple City (18-3-1) – One goal: Beat Monrovia.
8. Arcadia (19-5) – Apaches have lost last two in Pacific.
9. San Dimas (16-7) – Saints have two left with Nogales.
10. San Marino (17-7) – Titans locked in at third in Rio.
11. Northview (14-6-1) – Vikes suddenly battling Covina for fourth.
12. Los Altos (16-9) – Conqs in fight for second with Diamond Bar.
13. Diamond Bar (15-6-2) – Brahmas need win over LA in season finale.
14. Whittier (16-8) – Cards win four straight to jump to top of Del Rio.
15. Sierra Vista (15-5) – Montview title will be decided this week.
16. California (16-7) – Condors have two with Whittier to decide Del Rio.
17. La Puente (14-10) – Warriors dead even with Sierra Vista in Montview.
18. Burbank (12-8) – Bulldogs stun Arcadia to stay in the Pacific hunt.
19. Montebello (12-9) – Oilers (10-2 in league) a solid second in Almont.
20. Gabrielino (12-9) – Eagles barely hanging on in MVL after two straight losses.
