Kanach, Moors, Ready to Get Started

(Alhambra)- “I’m ready to go,” says Alhambra HC Joe Kanach. “We’re excited about what we got.”

New Alhambra HC Joe Kanach is pointing the direction for his team to go.

A spring and summer of change have left the local football community talking more about what’s going on at Alhambra than who will be going on the field. Gone are Lou Torres, Jacob Ochoa, Jonathan Mendoza, Nathan Quinones, and Essien Frank (Recently transfered to Pasadena). However there was no looking back on Saturday when the team scrimmaged. It was hot, they had fun, but this team seems to be getting chippy about getting on the field and putting the offseason to bed.

Quarterback Mando Amaya

Christian Caraveo, busting through the line from a defensive end spot here, is very good but he possess the ability to be very special.

The Moors were taking it out on each other on Saturday.

The outcome of the Almont is still up in the air. League is wide open.

It’s Alhambra, so you know you’re gonna hear ghosts whisper from across the field: “You gotta make plays!”
