Monrovia moved up to number two with a convincing win over San Dimas while Paraclete jumped to three by beating Dorsey. The question is can anybody beat Sierra Canyon? San Marino is making people take notice. El Monte scores 66 and still falls short.
1. Sierra Canyon (3-0) – Trailblazers still blazing away.
2. Monrovia (2-1) – Anthony Craft lifts Cats over Saints in flagfest.
3. Paraclete (3-1) – Spirits impressive in win over athletic Dorsey.
4. San Dimas (3-1) – Not enough firepower to hold off Monrovia.
5. San Marino (3-0) – Titans Nail Nogales. They look like the real deal.
6. Bell Gardens (2-1) – Lancers ring up Bell.
7. El Monte (2-2) – Same story for Lions; explosive offense, but where’s the D?
8. Gabrielino (4-0) – Another patsy, but another W.
9. Covina (2-2) – Colts put up another 33 to beat Walnut.
10. South Pasadena (2-1) – Tigers bounce back by routing Glendale.
