1. The Cardinals beat the Giants 3-1 in Game Three to take a 2-1 lead in the NLCS.

2. The Timberwolves Kevin Love broke his hand Wednesday and is out six to eight weeks.

3. Alex Rodriguez, 37, is owed $114 million over the next five years.

4. UCLA freshmen Shabazz Muhammad and Kyle Anderson have still not been cleared by the NCAA and are currently ineligible for regular season competition.
