The Peterson Principle: 10/22/2017

By Tim Peterson We still have two weeks left in the regular season but it looks like everything is settled. Let’s take a league inventory:

Bell Gardens Unbeaten in Almont

(Alhambra) – Bell Gardens took  advantage of two Alhambra turnovers and the Lancer offense kicked it into high gear in the second half in a 49-21 rout of the Moors Friday night at Moor Field.

Titans Run Through the Gardens, 30-6

By Tim Peterson (San Marino) – San Marino racked up over 400 yards on the ground and rolled to a 30-6 win over Bell Gardens Friday night on its home field.

An Early Look at the Almont

By Tim Peterson (El Monte) – South El Monte, Bell Gardens and LA Jordan visited Arroyo Saturday for a four-way throw.

By Tim Peterson It doesn’t matter if Joshua Knight accepted the position or not (I don’t think he did), but what does matter is that El Monte still doesn’t have a football coach.

Alhambra Has Enough in Fourth

(Bell Gardens) – Alhambra jumped out to a 20-0 lead in the first quarter but then had to rally late to beat Bell Gardens 26-21 Friday night on the Lancers home field.

The Peterson Principle: 9/5/2016

By Tim Peterson Now we really didn’t think USC would beat Alabama, did we? If USC fans took a step back and looked at it realistically it was just too much to ask.
