For Lamarr McDaniels and the Mustangs, everything will be on the line when Burbank comes to town.

All games are at 7:PM unless otherwise indicated

Del Rio League

Friday Night, October 12th

Santa Fe (3-4) at California (7-0)

The Chiefs have a shot to come all the way back to the land of the living. Depends on which Condor team shows up, but we think it will be the good Cal team.

California 41 Santa Fe 24

La Serna (6-1) at El Rancho (3-4)

The Lancers could drop something heavy on the Dons. It will be interesting to see which ER team shows up; the blitzkrieg version or the version that knows its playoff hopes are fading?

La Serna 50 El Rancho 28

Whittier (3-4) at Pioneer (1-6)

It won’t be major, it won’t be earth shattering…upset.

Pioneer 18 Whittier 12

Hacienda League

Friday Night, October 12th

Walnut (1-6) at Diamond Bar (2-5)

The winner can still dream, dreams. The loser will be forced to watch episodes of “Revolution”.

Walnut 31 Diamond Bar 27

Diamond Ranch (5-2) vs Rowland (6-2) at Ganesha H.S.

The Raiders are like the blob…The ooze in under the door, they find space between the cracks, they always, always seem to find a way. The Panthers, however, are just too fast.

Diamond Ranch 37 Rowland 22

Bonita (4-3) at Los Altos (4-4)

Reggie Turner’s soul is on fire…he is hot, hot, hot! Tanner Diebold to Victor Magallanes is overdue. The Conquerors? Get physical, blitz till it hurts, make Diebold see visions of Shaun Cody and Travis Parker.

Bonita 23 Los Altos 17

Pacific League

Thursday, October 18

Hoover (3-4) vs Burroughs (2-5) at Glendale H.S.

The Indians should win this, but what kind of mood will they be in after falling through the trap door at Muir a week ago. The Tornadoes are feeling it.

Hoover 27 Burroughs 24

Friday, October 19

Crescenta Valley (3-4) at Glendale (1-6)

William Wang will find room. The Falcons are still breathing, the Nitros are wishing, hoping, and dreaming of 2013.

Crescenta Valley 34 Glendale 7

Burbank (5-2) at Muir (4-3)

The Bulldogs have become the thorn in the flesh that keeps Muir from being too puffed with pride. The Mustangs struggled with Burroughs, they will struggle even more against the Bank.

Burbank 30 Muir 24

Arcadia (3-4) at Pasadena (1-6)

This is the Apaches best chance. They win and they will be in. They lose, and the road gets a little tougher…but manageable. PHS? Welcome to a future without Brandon Cox.

Arcadia 42 Pasadena 17

San Gabriel Valley League

Friday Night, October 12th

Dominguez (3-4) at Gahr (3-4)

Gahr has an offense, but Dominguez has something to prove. Winner can plan for next week. Loser can start counting the days.

Gahr 41 Dominguez 33

Warren (0-7) at Lynwood (2-5)

Yeah…

Warren 21 Lynwood 14

Downey (5-2) at Paramount (6-1)

For the she-bangee…Both teams are vulnerable, both teams are capable of an extended post-season run…Vikings.

Downey 30 Paramount 28

A monsoon is going to fall.
