4. UCLA’s second-leading tackler Tevin McDonald will not play in the Holiday Bowl due to a violation of team rules.

5. The London Sunday Times is suing Lance Armstrong to recoup the $485,000 they paid in a settlement to a lawsuit Armstrong brought against them in 2006.

6. Dez Bryant catches nine passes for 224 yards and a pair of 58 yard touchdowns for the Cowboys loss to the Saints.

7 Senior Eric Olivas is averaging 18 points and six rebounds for Temple City.

8. On this day in 1961 the Houston Oilers beat the San Diego Chargers 10-3in the AFL Championship.
