6. Workman Lobos are 18-1 and 7-0 in the Montview League led by Osnar Garcia’s 23 ppg.

7 Kings raise the Championship banner in the Staples Center then get beat 5-2 by Chicago.

8. On this day in 1979 the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Dallas Cowboys 35-31 in Super Bowl XIII and become the first team to win three Super Bowls.

9. Montebello’s Tiffani Martinez leads the Almont League in scoring at 14.5 ppg.
