(Alhambra)- Mark Keppel ended its 40 game losing streak against the team it won its last game against, Mountain View, 36-0 on Friday night.
The Vikings were held to 31 yards of total offense. Junior quarterback Jason Cordero went 3 of 16 for 14 yards and an interception. Views workhorse Albert Duarte touched the ball eight times for 18 yards. Back-up quarterback Julian Romero came got action in the final quarter and went 1 of 6 for 8 yards.
Aztecs quarterback Evan Bachman was threw strikes all night going 11 of 19 for 179 yards and a 60 yard touchdown pass to Edson Gomez. Gomez had three catches for 95-yards, he also had seven carries for 113 yards one was a 76 yard touchdown run.
