2. Michigan junior Tim Hardaway Jr. announces he is leaving school a year early to declare for the NBA draft.

3. The Lakers beat Houston in overtime to earn the seventh seed in the playoffs. They will face San Antonio. The Clippers beat Sacramento to get the fourth seed. They will host Memphis.
