1. The Celtics beat the Knicks in New York to cut the Knicks series lead to 3-2.

2. Portland’s Damian Lillard wins Rookie of the Year.

3. Jacksonville WR Justin Blackmon is suspended for the first four games of the 2013 season for violating the substance abuse policy.

4. Washington DC Council member David Grosso plans to submit a resolution calling for the Redskins to change their nickname because it’s “racist” and “derogatory.”

5. New Mexico says UCLA Coach Steve Alford still owes the university $1 million which was the buyout amount in a contract extension.

6. The Angels 19 inning, 10-8 loss to Oakland Monday night ended at 1:41 a.m Tuesday morning and was the longest game in Angels history. Josh Hamilton went 0-8 dropping his average to .202.
