James Williams: Burbank, RB, #21, 5-10, 185
2012 Stats: 133-1443 yards, 17 TD.
Williams averaged over ten yards per carry last year while rushing for over 1400 yards and scoring 17 touchdowns…as a sophomore. To say he will be an integral part of Hector Valencia’s offense this year is like saying Aaron Rodgers is important to Green Bay. The Bulldogs also can throw the ball with Ryan Meredith but with Williams in the backfield it’s going to be hard to not get him touches. Williams can run over and by defenders and to think the Pacific League has two more years to deal with this guy. Last year Williams rushed for 194 yards, his season high, on only four carries against Glendale. Williams could carry Burbank to the league title and beyond.
