1. The Dodgers 38-8 run in 46 games coming into Tuesday night’s game is the best in franchise history since a forerunner of the Dodgers, the Brooklyn Superbas matched the feat in 1899.

2. San Diego receiver Malcom Floyd has a strained knee and should be ready for opening day. The Chargers already lost their other receiver Denario Alexander for the season with an ACL injury.

3. The Philadelphia 76ers hired San Antonio assistant Brett Brown as head coach.

4. USC freshman receiver Darreus Rogers.

5. The Dodgers improve to 22-3 since the All Star break with a 4-2 win over the Mets.

6. Lifelong Atlanta Braves fan, Ronald Homer Jr., 30, accidentally fell about 85 feet to his death at the team’s ball park Monday night during a rain delay.
