1. San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith has been admitted into a rehabilitation facility to be treated for alcohol abuse.

2. Mt. View has scored 104 points in its first three games.

3. Detroit Lion receiver Nate Burleson breaks his arm in a car crash early Tuesday morning. The accident happened when Burleson tried to adjust one of the pizza boxes falling off the back seat of his GMC Yukon. Burleson could return late in the season.

4. The Lions beat the Redskins on the road Sunday for the first time since 1935 when they were known as the Boston Redskins.

5. The Pittsburgh Steelers are 0-3 for the first time since 1986. The Redskins, N.Y. Giants, Jacksonville, Minnesota, and Tampa Bay are also 0-3.

6. Baltimore Ravens receiver Jacoby Jones is hurt after being hit in the head by a stripper with a champagne bottle. Jones is currently rehabbing from a knee injury.

7. Arroyo receiver Nico Lozano: 19-522 yards, 4 TD.

8. Ganesha running back Donovan Davis: 71-567 yards, 8 TD.

9. La Serna sophomore linebacker Daniel Campos: 34 solo tackles, 3 sacks.

10. Hacienda League openers: Diamond Bar at Bonita, Diamond Ranch at West Covina Friday night.
