Harold Sanin’s Eagles have won four of five non-league games. How will they fare in the MVL?

Monrovia is still king after dispatching of South Hills while San Dimas moves up with big win over Northview. San Marino is starting to look a little scary. Paraclete comes up short in Dorsey but no shame in that. Is Pomona for real? BG looks good in Almont.

1. Monrovia (4-0) – Cats dispatch of South Hills; St. Francis will be toughest test yet.

2. Paraclete- (2-3) – Spirits fall to Dorsey; one more before league play.

3. Arroyo (3-1) – Knights get tune up with LC before league play begins.

4. San Marino (3-1) – Titans have outscored last two opponents 138-6.

5. Sierra Canyon (1-3) – Blazers get bye; Bishop this week.

6. Bell Gardens (3-1) – Lancers get fat against Warren.

7. Viewpoint (4-1) – Rout of  Windward gives Patriots 150 points in last three games.

8. San Dimas (1-4) – With one huge win Saints are suddenly favorites in the Valle Vista.

9. Pomona (5-0) – Red Devils keep rolling; Bye is next and then Northview.

10. Northview (4-1) – Banged up Vikings get Covina Thursday.

11. Baldwin Park (4-0) – With Nogales this week, Braves will be unbeaten going into San Dimas game.

12. Rosemead (3-1) – Panthers do what was necessary in win over San Gabriel.

13. Windward (3-1) – Wildcats fall to Viewpoint; still second best team in Alpha-East.

14. Montebello (2-3) – Oilers get well against Pioneer.

15. Gabrielino (4-1) – Okay enough with non-league stuff; Bye and then Arroyo for Eagles.

16. Covina (2-3) – Colts need a win this week to stay in Valle Vista League contention.

17. Mt. View (3-1) – Offensive explosion continues; 157 points in four games for Vikes.

18. Schurr (1-3) – Spartans get much needed win over Cal.

19. La Canada (2-2) – LC gets Eagle Rocked.

20. South Pasadena (2-2) – Tigers crack Top 20 but can they compete in Rio?
