OL/DL Anthony Urrea and the Colts could use a win Thursday night against Northview

Thursday October 3

All Kick-Offs are 7:00 PM unless otherwise noted

Montview League

Ganesha (1-3) at Azusa (2-2) at Citrus College

Last Year: Azusa 35-0

Azusa won a tough one last week over Duarte. The one point victory put the Aztecs right in the thick of the battle for the Montview League crown. The Giants have Donovan Davis (684 yards rushing, 9 TD) but not much else. Aztecs get the victory.

Pacific League

Pasadena (0-4) at Burbank (4-0) at Burroughs

Last Year: Burbank 34-8

This one could get ugly real quick. Picture Barbara Boxer in a mini. Burbank is dominant – maybe the best team in the Pacific. Pasadena has lost 13 of its last 14 games dating back to last season.James Williams runs wild. Burbank in a blood letting.

Burbank 45 Pasadena 7

Valle Vista League

Northview (4-1) at Covina (2-3) at Covina District Field

Last Year: Northview 14-6

Both teams need a victory. Northview needs to get the bad taste of the San Dimas disaster out of its mouth while Covina is trying to bounce back from a two touchdown loss to Pomona. A loss for either team could spell doom in the Valle Vista. Northview is a little banged up but should have enough to hold off the Colts. Covina needs more than just Pernell Smalley. Northview…close.

Northview 24 Covina 21
