***Northview scored on the opening possession of the third quarter on a 12 yard run by Ybarra to cap a 73-yard, ten play drive.

***On a fourth and nine Colt quarterback Darren Torres was stopped one yard short on a scramble with 42 seconds left to seal it for Northview.

***Torres had 14 carries for 69 yards and scored Covina’s first touchdown.

***An interception by Eric Williams set up a 14 yard touchdown pass from Torres to Christian Padilla for a 21-7 lead early in the second.

***Bryan Salinas rushed for 157 yards on 12 carries for Northview. His 51 yard run in the fourth set up Fernandes 23 yard field goal.

***“I knew we could come back but I was definitley concerned when we were down 28-7. I think early in the game we were dwelling on the San Dimas game a little bit,” said Northview Coach Marcel Perez.

***Ybarra had 10 carries for 74 yards and a touchdown for Northview to go along with the 62-yard TD catch.
