Everybody at the top keeps on winning including Pomona who is perfect through eight. Rosemead moved up with an annhilation of El Monte while Gabrielino makes a case for third. Montebello and Schurr both won to set up an Almont blockbuster in two weeks. Just a question: What happened to the Bell Gardens offense?         

1. Monrovia (7-1) – Wildcats haven’t allowed a point in league.

2. Paraclete (4-4) – Spirits paste a 60 on Marshall.

3. Arroyo (7-1) – Are people still questioning the Knights’ legitimacy?

4. San Marino (7-1) – One more game before M-Town.

5. San Dimas (4-4) – Saints close out with Covina, then unbeaten Pomona.

6. Viewpoint (7-1) – Pats looking forward to Paraclete in Alpha title game.

7. Pomona (8-0) – Even with suspensions, Red Devils light up BP.

8. Rosemead (7-1) – Koff’s return a rousing success.

9. Sierra Canyon (3-5) – Can Blazers come alive in post season?

10. Northview (6-2) – Baldwin Park game this week is huge.

11. Montebello (5-3) – Oilers have outscored last four opponents 168-20.

12. Schurr (4-4) – It’s all set: Schurr at Montebello Friday November 8.

13. Baldwin Park (6-2) – In Braves’ two losses they have surrendered 131 points.

14. Bell Gardens (5-3) – BG offense has gone MIA.

15. Gabrielino (6-2) – Eagles look good for third in MVL.

16. Covina (4-5) – Colts aren’t bad but look like odd man out in Valle Vista.

17. Temple City (3-5) – Rams crack Top 20 with big win over South Pas.

18. Mt. View (3-5) – Vikes coulda been a contendah.

19. La Canada (3-5) – Spartans need to win out to make playoffs.

20. South Pasadena (3-5) – See La Canada.
