Pasadena 48 Glendale 0

  Pasadena racked up over 400 yards rushing in a 48-0 rout of Glendale in Pacific League action. Revealing a new double- wing offense the Bulldogs incorporated eight running backs into the ground attack.

  Nic Escoe and Charles Hendricks combined for nearly 300 yards rushing with Hendricks accounting for 170 of them on just 11 carries. Pasadena led 28-0 at the half and two Hendricks scores in the third quarter put the game away.

  The Bulldogs improved to 3-1 in league and 4-3 overall. The Nitros dropped to 0-4 and 1-6.

 

Workman 45 Sierra Vista 20

  The Lobos amassed over 430 total yards in a 45-20 win over Sierra Vista in a Montview League contest. Kalin Bradford rushed for 106 yards and Michael Silva scored twice on the ground and also picked off a pass and returned it 48 yards for a touchdown.

  Quarterback Richard Camberos threw for 195 yards and also had a pair of rushing touchdowns for the Lobos, who jumped out to a 28-7 lead and cruised the rest of the way.

  Workman is in a good position to make the CIF playoffs. The Lobos are now 2-1 in league and 5-2 overall. Sierra Vista fell to 1-3 and 3-4.

 

Rowland 56 Wilson 12

  Josh Onovughe scored on each of Rowland’s first three possessions as the Raiders jumped out to a 35-0 first quarter lead and rolled to a 56-12 win over Wilson.

  Leonardo Freeman playing in place of the injured Michael Ball threw for 159 yards and three touchdowns on just seven completions.

  Rowland remained undefeated at 7-0 with the non league victory while Wilson fell to 2-5.

 

Bonita 26 Los Altos 20

  Even Highley hit Codey Sykes on an 18 yard touchdown pass with 27 seconds left in the contest to give Bonita a 26-20 win over Los Altos in Miramonte League action.

  Sykes was big all night catching seven passes for 171 yards. Highley completed 17 of 26 for 265 yards.

  Ryan Longoria returned a kick off 90 yards for a touchdown to give Los Altos a 20-19 lead. He had earlier hauled in a 19 yard pass from Justin Zamano to put the Conquerors up 14-13. But Sykes and Highley connected late to give Bonita the win.

  The Bearcats are 2-5 overall but 1-1 in league. Los Altos dropped to 3-4 and 1-1.
