Do you get the feeling in about 20 years the voice that goes with this face is going to be saying: "Hello, I'm Josh Lowden and I'm running for President of the United States."

Do you get the feeling in about 20 years the voice that goes with this face is going to be saying: "Hello, I'm Josh Lowden and I'm running for President of the United States."

Good Evening!

I doubt in the quarterback centric world we live in he would ever win the Heisman, but shouldn’t USC’s Damien Williams get a sniff?

You know, they gave the Heisman to Notre Dame’s Tim Brown for doing a whole lot less.

“The Griffin Bowl”…Half Eagle, half Lion, and you have a griffin…not a bad name for the annual South El Monte-El Monte match up.

(At least we didn’t try to come up with something.)

What’s the edict for officials in regards to protecting their own when they make a horrendous call? Can you rat on them or do you have to privately call ‘internal affairs’ to get them straightened out?

Remember when just playing BG, let alone going to Bell Gardens, was an absolute nightmare for San Gabriel.

A great win for the Matadors and a special moment for all of the Villathedevil haters…

Arthur Brown is coming on.

With Steve Garrison assisting out at Damien these days, Alhambra’s Gil Ruedaflores is easily the best quote in the valley. And his Moors are not taking any of the guff others have thrown at them for not being pretty enough…they just keep on winning.

Former Temple City cornerback Alex “Black Jack” Dunn impressed with Monrovia’s Derrick Johnson (Who seems to get better every time I see him) asked how old he was…thirty?

Note to Dunn: Johnson’s a junior, De’Shawn Ramirez is a sophomore, Nick Bueno is a junior… Odds look good for the Wildcats to extend their three game winning streak over the Rams to four next fall…or perhaps in a post-season hook up.

Another big night for Matt Fregoso…The Mead has had a thousand rusher every season this decade (Jose Samano, Mike Gomez, Joe Silva, Cesar Barriga, Deon Sumler, Paul Wilson, and Tra Sumler.)

“It was the Mid Valley Karma,” said M-Town’s Josh Lowden going off the field Friday night.

I thought Gabrielino had a shot.

Is Arroyo’s Chris MacMillan the only one watching game film? Has anybody noticed on the first series of a game the Knights Steven Rivera is going to look deep for either Chris Rodriguez or Anthony Miller?

I don’t like the bashing that’s going on regarding Walnut, Aubrey Coleman, and what happened last week in the Mustangs game against Rowland. Let it go people.

Note to TC Fans: Bob Hitchcock, Don Swanson, Mike DiFiori, Mike Mooney, and Randy Backus aren’t coming back. Layoff the double dumb butt cat calls against the Rams current staff. Run these guys out of town and TC might as well fill out its application to join the Montview.

Back to Rowland, excellent win friday without Michael Ball.

If everyone had been healthy could Diamond Ranch have pulled off the upset over Charter Oak?

Oh gee, look who’s in line for the third playoff spot in the Mission Valley League…Ray Hernandez and the over maligned Southmen…Good for the Eagles…Hate to say I told you so, but I did.

This just in CIF is changing the name of the Del Rio to the Sybil League.

I feel obliged to mention Cal’s Terris Jones every chance I get…this dude is balling…

It should have been mentioned long before but former El Rancho quarterback A.J. Toscano is currently starting for Charleston Southern. So far this season the Buccaneers have played number one ranked Florida and Southern Florida.

I guess San Marino didn’t suffer from any PMS against South Pasadena Friday…you know; Post-Monrovia-Syndrome.

With at least 76-yards last night, Temple City’s Max Ruckle is less than 10-yards away from a second consecutive thousand yard season, and being the twelfth straight thousand yard rusher at TC.

I gotta believe Burroughs’ Keith Knoop is loving Dalton Williams these days…

Stay thirsty my friends…
