1.  The Mayfiar Monsoons knocked off Long Beach Poly 82-73 to advance to the Regional Semi-Finals of the CIF State Baskeball playoffs.

2.  The L.A. Kiss win their inaugural game in the AFL on a 35-yard field goal by Kenny Spencer as time ran out.

3.  Florida gets the #1 overall seed while Wichita State, Virgina and Arizona round out the regional #1 seeds for the NCAA Basketball Tournament.

4.  Peter O’Malley became the CEO of the Los Angeles Dodgers on this day in 1970.

5.  Lexie Sholz scored 27 points hitting 9-of-23 from the field in South Pasadena’s loss to Lakeside in the second round of the CIF State Basketball Playoffs.

6.  Former Boston Celtic guard Danny Ainge turns 55 today.

7.  The Clippers beat the Cavaliers 102-80 to take their winning streak to 11 games.
