LA KISS KICKS OFF EXCLUSIVE AUCTION TO SUPPORT OUR VETERANS

The KISS Struggles in Iowa

PHOENIX, ARIZ. (April 22, 2014)- Today, Mike Focareto, CEO ofVeteran Tickets Foundation(Vet Tix) announced that the organization has partnered with LA KISS to host an ongoing online auction in support of their deserving veterans.

 “Football is one our most sought after tickets, getting the opportunity to partner with newest entry into the Arena Football League is outrageous,” said Focareto.“We know the KISS fans have more than a football team they get rock music, a pyrotechnics show, laser lights, and more. An enormous thanks toPaul Stanley and Gene Simmons for creating this very unique opportunity for our service members and their families.”

 Rock ‘n’ roll legends Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of the band KISS formed L.A. KISS in partnership with media mogul Doc McGee and AFL Veteran Brett Bouchy after they saw a need to fuse sports and entertainment in an environment that was enjoyable for all the family.

 LA KISS Co-owner Brent Bouchy stated, “Being a community advocate has always been a trademark of KISS, it just transcends into our new football team’s fans and what we stand for.

We feel proud to be supporting Vet Tix, this partnership gives LA KISS the opportunity to provide our military and their families with edge-of-your-seat entertainment.”

 The auction ends on Friday, April 25th; bidders can expect to see a signed football by the entire KISS band, two signature KISS Jerseys, and a KISS Helmet signed and designed by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. Proceeds from the winning bids will be donated to Veteran Tickets Foundation. All winners will be provided a tax deductible receipt from VetTix.

 Vet Tix is a national nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that partners with major sports teams, leagues, colleges, promoters, organizations, individuals and ticket holders to provide donated tickets to sporting events and shows to military members and veterans. Active duty military and honorably discharged veterans from all branches of service, as well as families of those killed in action are eligible to receive tickets. Since 2008 Vet Tix has grown tremendously, donating more than 800,000 tickets to veterans and their families.
